- Apply for CEAP Scholarship (wait for approval, pay whatever they do not by May 15)
- Pay via PayPal
- Pay via Check through squadron finance officer
IMPORTANT: always either take a print screen, make a PDF, or make a photo or photocopy of the payment option you select as proof of payment. Submit that proof of payment with your registration form.

THE CEAP SCHOLARSHIP
IMPORTANT: Opens March 1, scholarships available depending on need. Sign up as soon as possible. Submitting your encampment application can happen after you sign up for CEAP, but you must sign up early for CEAP. Cadets all over the country are seeking these scholarships.
The CEAP application is only an application for financial aid for encampment. Cadets must also apply register to attend their encampment of choice separately through the individual encampment's registration process.

Round 1 CEAP for all announced summer encampments will OPEN on 1 March 2024 and CLOSE on 1 May 2024.
To apply for CEAP - Cadet Encampment Assistance Program
- STEP ONE - Sign into E-services
- Click on CADET PROGRAMS
- Click on CADET ENCAMPMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
- Fill out the online application form (2-3 questions)
- SUBMIT
- Contact your squadron commander to approve your application online in his approval box
- WAIT until you receive an email to indicate your eligibility
- STEP TWO - You will know if, and how much, CEAP has provided to your cadet as a scholarship by May 15. Your cadet will receive an email. Keep a lookout in your cadet’s email on file in e-services (and in junk box) for the approval/denial letter. It will be from the Civil Air Patrol Cadet Encampment Assistance Program
- STEP THREE - Make PDF of CEAP Scholarship Approval and Amount and send to encadmin@nmcap.us to apply to your cadets account
- STEP FOUR - Parents are accountable for the $$ difference between what the cadet has received for a scholarship and the actual encampment fee, and the difference must be paid no later than May 20 to hold your cadet’s slot for encampment
- See Paypal or Pay by Check options for final payment of your cadet’s fee
- May 20 is deadline to have paid for your child’s encampment slot. Encampment slots not paid in full by May 20 will be given away to wait listed cadets.
- IMPORTANT: If you have additional financial need outside of the CEAP scholarship, you need to communicate that need to the Encampment Finance Officer before May 20 to make arrangements for a delay in the deadline. Our goal is that all cadets attend encampment and that their family finances not be the reason for them not to attend.

PAY VIA PAYPAL - (Preferred option)
- STEP ONE: Go to PAYPAL.COM
- Call 505-205-1427 - Ask for Maj Fox, if you need assistance at any step of this paypal process.
- STEP TWO: Login to your account, or create a (free) account
- Click on SEND (Big yellow button) or look under SEND AGAIN (a little down on the page) if you have paid for an encampment in the past via paypal OR look for any icon that indicates SEND - Click that icon for SEND
- STEP THREE: Type in encadmin@nmcap.us (it will come up with newmexicowingcivilairpatrol@NMWGencampment )
- STEP FOUR: Click on “What’s this payment for?”
- STEP FIVE: Type in CADET NAME(s) and CADET MEMBER ID(s) and SUMMER ENCAMPMENT (all three please)
- STEP SIX: Enter the registration fee you need to pay
- STEP SEVEN: Type into the "Recipient" field if it is blank: New Mexico Wing Civil Air Patrol
- STEP EIGHT: Click on CONTINUE
- STEP NINE: Add credit card or click on the correct credit card (complete requested details)
- STEP TEN: Click on SEND PAYMENT NOW
- If a comment appears and indicates that the payment is not going through, please switch to a different credit card (most cards will process; however, try a second card before calling for assistance)
You will get an email of verification of payment in your email
SAVE VERIFICATION EMAIL AS A PDF
1) Show or print PDF to show to your commander so that he/she can sign the backside of your CAPF 60-81 (he/she verifies payment with his signature)
2) Mail PDF of PAYPAL payment to Encadmin@nmcap.us Along WITH your application as proof of payment.
- IMPORTANT: Applications are not accepted without proof of payment (CEAP acknowledging that you submitted your request email, Photocopy of Check, or printscreen/PDF of PayPal payment

PAYMENT BY CHECK
(less preferred, and must be approved by your commander and finance officer, because it puts a burden on the squadron to process the fee)
- STEP ONE - write out a check
- addressed to NMWG SUMMER ENCAMPMENT to the correct amount of your registration fee.
- In the remarks section, write your cadet name and member ID #
- Take a photo with your cell phone, or make a photo copy of the check
- STEP TWO - give the check to your finance officer or squadron commander
- This is at the SAME TIME that you are getting the back side of your CAPF 60-81 signed, as the commander cannot sign your form without proof of payment
- STEP THREE - attached the photo of your payment or the copy you made along side the rest of the application to an email
- Send proof of payment AND registration forms to encadmin@nmcap.us
